We specialize in oxygen/air blender overhaul and repair. We replace all  components as recommended by manufacturer specifications. We consistently find that many low-cost repair centers do not replace some of the vital interior components. They simply replace inexpensive parts and then recalibrate the blender. Failure to periodically replace vital interior components could result in malfunction of the blender, placing the patient in jeopardy.


It is recommended that maintenance be performed on Bird-style blenders at least once every two years.

  • Disassemble blender
  • Replace all filters & rubber goods
  • Examine components > Replace if defective
  • Clean main body > Replace if defective
  • Replace all recall components
  • Assemble
  • Connect inlets to oxygen & air
  • Perform leak test > Correct
  • Test alarm pressures > Calibrate or replace component
  • Calibrate with appropriate device > Replace component if defective
  • Clean external components
